Quick Tip on how to remove the BOB-CAT® QuickCat engine

Quick Tip Header Image

One of BOB-CAT’s main pillars is Ease of Ownership which includes
maintaining your BOB-CAT mower.

BOB-CAT QuickCat mowers makes it easy to service an engine.  On the
QuickCat, the engine is mounted to an engine plate, which in turn is
mounted to the main frame by (4) bolts.  This is highlighted by the arrow
in the figure below.

By loosening these bolts to the engine frame, the engine can be easily
removed for quick access after the control cables, belts, and electrical
cables are loosened as well.  Along with the engine comes a complete
assembly of the following components:

  • Muffler
  • Muffler guard
  • Clutch
  • Clutch stop weldment and pin
  • Engine pulley
  • Engine plate
  • Engine oil drain components

Servicing a BOB-CAT QuickCat mower is second to none in the stand-up
mower market.
